Jackie Elward State Assembly District 12

Jackie Elward is the kind of leader the North Bay needs right now. As a Rohnert Park Councilmember, educator, labor organizer, and immigrant with deep roots in our region, Jackie has built her career around standing up for working families and protecting the communities we call home. She understands the challenges North Bay residents are facing and has never been afraid to speak up, take action, and fight for what is right.

The North Bay needs strong, steady leadership to address the issues affecting our communities every day, from wildfire prevention and housing affordability to public education and healthcare access. Jackie is committed to bringing people together and making sure the North Bay has a strong voice in Sacramento. She will fight to protect our values, invest in our future, and make sure our communities get the resources and support they deserve.

Jackie's priorities include:

• Working with regional and state leaders on wildfire prevention, wildfire insurance reform, drought resilience, and sea level rise preparedness 
• Acting with urgency to address the climate crisis 
• Defending all of our communities from attacks by the Trump Administration 
• Investing in our public schools and educational opportunities 
• Expanding access to affordable housing, especially for educators and nurses 
• Treating homelessness like the crisis it is 
• Supporting healthcare as a human right, including mental health care 
• Standing up for working families and being a strong champion for labor 
• Keeping our communities safe 
• Defending the North Bay way of life
